Belmont Manor is a family-operated Skilled Nursing Facility. As the owners, Stewart and Susan Karger are proud to have such a dedicated management team.
Susan began her Belmont Manor career in 1975 as a social worker, and later became the Admissions Coordinator. Over the years, she has helped many families take care of their loved ones here. The admission process can be overwhelming, so Susan’s many years of experience provide comfort to families and friends of our new residents.
Tricia joined the Belmont Manor management team in 2002. As Business Manager, she is responsible for the facilities’ daily accounting, payroll processing and financial analysis reporting. Also, many financial audits and inquiries require her expertise. Tricia is often seen assisting residents, families, and employees with their wide varieties of questions.
Belmont Manor employs over 160 people across three shifts. Since joining us in 2002, Gordon has helped make the facility run more efficiently by introducing several software programs. He has helped grow the Human Resources department by documenting and enforcing policies and procedures. Gordon also handles all of the nursing and CNA scheduling.
Kerri joined our management team in 2014. She has a BS in Nursing and brings years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Geriatrics.
Freeborn joined Belmont Manor in 2010, bringing with him over 10 years of nursing experience. He has held positions as Charge Nurse and Unit Manager in local area facilities.
In January 2017, Jean was promoted to Clinical Nurse Manager after previously working here part time as Charge Nurse on Station 1.
Charles has over 30 years experience as an RN and has been with us since 1991. As Evening Nursing Supervisor, he is responsible for the care of all our residents, and for managing any staff issues. Charles also works during the day, every other weekend, as Nurse Manager for our facility. He has always approached both nursing and employee situations in a calm, professional manner.
Gershom developed his career in nursing here at Belmont Manor. He was hired in 1996 as a Certified Nursing Assistant. He obtained his RN license in 2006 and worked part time here as a nurse. Seeing his potential to be a nurse manager, we increased his responsibilities to evening Charge Nurse on Station 1, along with being Evening Nursing Supervisor on Wednesdays and as needed.
In March 2016 Paula transitioned from Clinical Nurse Manager of our Special Care Unit to Staff Development Coordinator.Her many years of nursing experience at Belmont Manor along with established relationships with our staff provides a great foundation in her new role.
Belmont Manor has seen many changes in medical billing since Sheryl was hired in 1983. As our Minimum Data Set (MDS) Coordinator, she has to keep up to date on many regulations. This responsibility also includes maintaining and submitting our residents’ MDS to the Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services. She also has one more important role: Sheryl is quite possibly the first person each resident sees. As a screener, she obtains medical and psycho-social information about potential candidates for admission.
Sachi joined our team in March 2016. She is an Occupational Therapist with 12 years of clinical and management experience in Geriatric care.
Sandy joined Belmont Manor in March 2017. She brings several years of experience providing social services to elder adults.
Danielle joined Belmont Manor in January 2013 with over seven years of experience working with elders, including those with memory impairment. She is a board certified dance/movement therapist and very skilled in using the therapeutic arts in group work with elders to promote overall wellness.
In 1991, after 10 years as owner of a custom carpentry and remodeling business, Bob came to Belmont Manor as our Plant Engineer. His talents include being able to troubleshoot and repair just about anything. In addition to his Environmental Services role, he also developed and maintains our computer network and its many components. With 20 years experience at Belmont Manor, Bob has a strong working knowledge of our facility, its systems and its technologies.
Ulisses has over 20 years experience in housekeeping and laundry services. Every day he is responsible for managing several housekeepers who have the never-ending task of making our facility look great. We also have a full-service laundry, which he oversees. He joined Belmont Manor in 2008 after working here several years for an outside cleaning company.
Cathy has been our fulltime receptionist since 1993. Through the years she has taken over many administrative responsibilities for various departments. She also manages our evening and weekend receptionists.
